Airport Information
Huatulco is served by the Huatulco International Airport. International arrivals and departures are to the left and domestic flights to the right. Aircraft will circle once to the left over the bays upon take off or before landing. Passengers seated on the left-hand side of the aircraft will have the best view of the bays.

Weather/Climate
Huatulco enjoys approximately 300 sunny days a year and an average temperature of 85 degrees. In the summer is rains in the afternoons, mornings are beautiful all year- round.
Local Customs
Be sure to try one of the areas local delicacies, chapulines, also known as grasshoppers. Fried, sometimes with garlic, and very tasty, chapulines are eaten straight when sold by vendors on the streets and in the markets of Huatulco.
City Layout
Huatulco is comprised of the small town of La Crucecita, which is the center point of the development, and nine bays: Conejos, Tangolunda, Chahue, Santa Cruz, Entrega, Maguey, Organo, Cacaluta and San Agustin. Tangolunda Bay is by far the best known and some visitors mistakenly believe that Tangolunda is the entire development of Huatulco and never venture farther to discover all the diversity Huatulco has to offer.
